UTAK held its prestigious spring black belt grading ceremony, celebrating 12 dedicated practitioners who successfully earned their First Dan rank. The ceremony, attended by senior masters and family members, marked a significant milestone in each candidate's martial arts journey.
The grading process spanned two days of intensive examination, testing candidates on technical proficiency, pattern execution, sparring ability, power breaking, and their understanding of Taekwon-Do philosophy. Each candidate demonstrated the dedication and discipline required to achieve this honored rank.
“Earning a black belt is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of true learning. These students have shown the character and commitment worthy of this distinction.”
— Grand Master Kim, Presiding Examiner
